You are always entitled to the legal warranty of your product. This means that a product must possess the properties necessary for normal use, or also do what the buyer can reasonably expect of it. This means that under normal use, a product should not have any defects during its expected lifetime. Should a product not meet these expectations, you are entitled to a warranty and can contact us for a solution. The warranty applies to product faults / manufacturing defects. Not for user errors or damage caused by your own actions.
OBDLink.nl guarantees the reliability of the products you order from us. You therefore get a standard 2-year warranty as described in the European Directive. In addition, we ensure fast warranty handling. Our warranty does not apply to a defect caused by wear and tear, improper or intensive use.

What should I do in case of damage upon delivery?
The products of OBDLink.nl are checked and carefully packed before shipment. Nevertheless, it can unfortunately happen that you do not receive a product in good condition. If this happens, you have to report this to us within five working days. You can do this by sending an e-mail to [email protected] and we will provide an appropriate solution.
How do I return a product for warranty?
Before you send a product to us for warranty, please make sure you have notified us by email at [email protected]. This way we can make sure that the product reaches the right department as soon as it arrives.
When you report your warranty you will also receive instructions on how to return the product. Please make sure it is packaged correctly and that a clear description of the problem, the order number and your name are included.
How do repairs work?
Upon receipt of your warranty shipment, we will assess the device and replicate your problem description. In many cases, many problems can be solved by equipping the equipment with new software. If this does not help, we will decide whether we will exchange the equipment immediately or send it to the manufacturer or importer for repair/exchange. We will keep you informed in the process about the steps to take.
Should the product no longer be within the warranty period or warranty terms, we will contact you about any repair costs.
Is a repair always free of charge?
If the product breaks down within the warranty period and it is a manufacturing defect, the repair is free of charge.
If the defect is due to your own fault, a repair will incur costs. It is not possible to indicate in advance the amount of these possible costs. After receiving the product, we examine it and then make an estimate.
What if my product is defective and is out of warranty?
If the product breaks down after the warranty period, you can contact us. We will then see what is possible on a case-by-case basis.
